Brandi Nichols, MA, BSN, LMFT #122625 (she)

Past President

Brandi has been working in the healthcare industry for the last twenty years. Holding various positions and learning along the way - she realized that the separation of mental health from the medical model was hurting not just the patients, but the healthcare workers as well. It was then a unique path developed to bring healing first to herself and then to other healthcare workers. Brandi has experience in supporting trauma survivors in an intensive outpatient treatment program. She spent two years post-grad immersed in learning about death and dying. She is also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), a trauma modality that provides an alternative to talk therapy for processing stressful experiences holistically. Over the past five years, Brandi has successfully coached healthcare workers through grief, burnout and compassion-fatigue by creating space for healing through a compassionate release of the stress and trauma stored in the body. Brandi has created and led various support groups and trainings related to grief, chronic pain, imposter syndrome and burnout. Taking these experiences and all knowledge gained, she has formed a Non-Profit "Hope for Healers", which advocates for meaningful mental health support.
